For 2018 I have decided to set a schedule for the blog and incorporate one new feature. The plan is to have new reviews up every Sunday & Wednesday, continue the First Line Friday feature and add in a new feature on Monday's I am calling Monday's RSU (reading status update). There will be times that this schedule changes based on current commitments I already have set with blog tours, monthly favourites, and a few extra posts I hope to do. For now though let's get to the first Monday's RSU.
Each Monday I will be posting a Reading Status Update, I am calling this feature Monday’s RSU. I will share what book I just finished, what book I am currently reading, and the book I plan on reading next. I always find it interesting to learn what books people are currently reading (or recently enjoyed), and I am hoping that by sharing what I plan to read next will keep me focused on getting through my TBR list. This will also give you an idea of what reviews will be coming up. Here is the first update:
Just Finished:
I couldn’t wait to read this book. Lynette Eason has been one of my favourite authors for years and I was excited to find out what she had in store for a new series. I was not disappointed; I was on the edge of my seat many times during this read. This officially releases tomorrow (Jan. 2) but I was privileged to receive an advanced copy of this book. My review will be up on Wed. Jan. 3.
Currently Reading:
This is another book I have anxiously been awaiting for what feels like forever, okay not quite, but ever since I read the prequel to this series this time last year, I have been waiting for the continuation of Ian and Sierra's story and finally in book 4 we get it. I haven't made it past the first page yet, but that is going to be changing very, very soon, at day off today means I can read it!
Reading Next:
I have only read one other book by Pepper Basham before and I really enjoyed it, then I heard so many good things about this book, that I added to my TBR list when it was released this past April and finally it is next on my list.
What are you books are you currently reading or have recently enjoyed?
If you wish to join in on this feature, please let me know.
