My Rating & Thoughts:    ⭐⭐⭐⭐


I am not a big dog person but I really enjoyed the dogs in this story and how they worked with and protected the humans. Izzy's father's death has been ruled a heart attack, but Izzy is sure it was murder. Can she find proof that supports her theory? This was a quick fast paced story with lots of tense moments. A page turner that kept me invested. While I suspected a couple characters I did not have it figured out. Conversations about faith and trusting God is talked about quite a bit between the main characters. There is also a romance that happens but it didn't overshadow the main storyline.
