Welcome to First Line Friday's hosted by Hoarding Books. I was introduced to Shanna Hatfield's writing a couple years ago and she quickly become one of those authors where I try to pick up their newest book as soon as possible. Last week book 5 of her Rodeo Romance series released, a series that is Christmas focused. I decided this was the perfect time to re-read the series from the beginning since it had been a while since I read the the earlier books and will help me get in the Christmas spirit. Today's book is number 2 of the series. Disclaimer - the first line might have you thinking this is not going to be a clean read, but it is.
Today's book is: Wrestlin' Christmas by Shanna Hatfield

"The raspy, slobber-laden tongue scraping across his cheek combined with the malodorous scent of dog breath rousted Cort McGraw from his drunken stupor."

Hahaha! That is one way to wake up! ;-) I don't think I've read anything by Shanna Hatfield, but she sounds like she has a sense of humor!

Oh she definitely has a sense of humor. I highly recommend her books for an entertaining read.
