Happy Friday!!!
Hello August! It's been a long busy week here, I am so looking forward to the three day weekend! It will be a break out the books weekend :) Today's book is book 4 of Lynette Eason's Elite Guardians series, which just released a couple days ago. Ms. Eason has been one of my favourite authors for quite a while, there are only a few books of her's that I haven't read yet. I usually devour the new ones as soon as it is released and this book was no exception. I loved it and my review went live this morning, you can read it here.
Today's book is: Chasing Secrets by Lynette Eason
Prologue

Now it's your turn! Grab the book nearest to you and leave a comment with the first line. Then join in more First Line fun by visiting these blogs:

I’m currently reading My Unexpected Hope by Tammy L Gray, which has a great first line:
ReplyDeleteMoonlight leaked through the dirt-splotched windows of Joe’s Bar, it’s silvery rays glinting off the tumbler in front of Laila Richardson’s saddest customer.
I'm sharing the first line from The Space Between Words on my website. I hope you stop by and check it out.
