Frist Line Friday (Week 57): To the Moon and Back

Happy Friday!

Welcome to First Line Friday's hosted by Hoarding Books.

Today's book is: To the Moon and Back by Karen Kingsbury

To the Moon and Back
First Line:
"The roots of the tree had taken residence in Amy Hogan's heart, where they wouldn't let go."

Today's first line comes from a book my BFF was anxiously awaiting to be released. Karen Kingburry is one of her favourite authors and I think she had read almost all (if not all) or her books. Who are some of your favourite authors?

Now it's your turn!
Let me know your first line in the comments and then head over
to Hoarding Books to see who else is participating!

The book I'm sharing on my blog today is Cold Shot by Dani Pettrey but it's also the book I'm currently reading so I'll share the first line of my current chapter (12): "'Do you think he followed you there?' Parker asked, taking a bit of kung pao chicken." Hope you have a great weekend! Happy Reading! :)

“The day started out like any other, but then I received an email from Cordelia Irwin, the human resources director, and it was tagged urgent.”

    Sounds ominous, doesn’t it!

I’m featuring lines from Nina Lane’s The Secret Thief on my blog today. I hope you can stop by!
